This is a sneak peak into one of our most exciting projects.  We’ve finished the design and engineering and are just about to start the steel fabrication.  Called Cuna De Vida (Cradle of Life), this will be the ultimate sustainable luxury resort.  Located on a remote island off the pacific coast of Panama, this adventurous resort will be completely off-grid, relying completely on it’s own renewable energy production, water management, and organic farm.  Together with our green buildings, it will be a resort like no other.  More pics and info after the jump…

We’ll be supplying the resort with better energy efficiency, high recycled content, and less disturbances on the island where they are building.  Due to the organized packaging of our materials, you can get away with a much smaller staging area and save some trees and brush in the meantime.  There will also be a planted roof on the villa suites and water catchment worked into every building.  The resort will be building a solar panel infrastructure and produce Bio-Fuel from it’s organic farm.  Cuna De Vida is also setting up it’s own water treatment system.  This resort will be as off-grid as you can imagine.  Great care will be taken to preserve the natural surroudings.  Part of the resort’s attraction is the tropical island rainforest the covers Panama with it’s 900 species of birds, 500 rivers, 1600 islands, and bio-diverse waters.
